Product Testing

There’s no way to be able to ACCURATELY describe, analyze, critique, rate, or rave about a product until you’ve tested it out first-hand.  So, we decided to put one of our newest products, our Activity Paper Placemats for kids, to the test with one of the smartest, toughest, most-thorough inspectors out there!  Here’s how it went down:

Mr. Inspector, Age 3, sat down at the table in front of the placemat.  With his colored-pencils in hand, he began this intense and rigorous testing process.

It started to look promising!  But Mr. Inspector (who chose to remain anonymous)…

 …still had more work to do!

I think we have a winner! Our Activity Paper Placemats have passed the test!

And there you have it, smiles and giggles guaranteed!

New in the Shop! Paper Place Mats

They’re here! They’re here!

We are super excited to announce the latest party addition to grace our shop… THE lovely, elegant, fun, charming, fuss-free way to set your table: Paper Placemats! As if it wasn’t amazing enough, this company designs and prints in the US using soy-based inks on recycled paper. Their designs are one-of-a-kind and the quality of these place mats is exquisite, and you can find them right here at Ceferina Sweet!

“Personalizable” paper place mats to say exactly what you need to say. We hand-wrote “Happy Birthday” on ours with a regular Sharpie and it turned out great!

These create the feel of a confetti-embellished dinner table (without the mess!)

And last but not least, I am IN LOVE with the Kid’s Activity Paper Placemats that allow our little partiers to color in, punch-out, and then wear! Perfect for princess parties and mustache parties. But really, whatever the occasion being celebrated, it’s always the perfect event to let your kiddos have some fun!

Sweet Snaps Entry #2: Betsey Darley Photography

Last month, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the wonderful and talented Betsey Darley of Betsey Darley Photography, a custom photographer based in Fairfax, Virginia.  Looking through her website portfolio, one can admire her artistry, the vibrant colors in her work, and her ability to capture genuine smiles and fun in her photos.  So you can imagine I was beyond excited when she contacted me.  These are some of the photos she shared with me from her bright pink and orange cupcake party!

Love how she presented our hot pink and orange dotted birch wood cutlery in this cute little tin bucket!

She was also sweet enough to send us a photo of our fabulous 36″ Round Citrine Yellow balloon in action!  But despite this balloons’ unquestionable charm, it doesn’t hold a candle to this beautiful couple and parents-to-be!  Thanks for sharing this with us!

Sweet Snaps Entry #1: Pom Party Table

Submitted by Sarah on July 9, 2013.  Sarah used bright yellow and gray tissue paper poms to compliment her theme for her sweet kiddo’s birthday party.  You usually find these lovely poms used as hanging decor but I love how she got creative and mounted them on glass vases to accentuate her cake/dessert table!  All the details, down to the gray chevron table runner, definitely made this table one to remember.  Thanks for sharing, Sarah!
